Earlier this year at the Golden Globes, Claire Danes flaunted her post-baby body in this sizzling red, custom made Atelier Versace silk gown featuring a thigh-high slit and plunging neckline. The Homeland star kept her accessories to a minimum, letting the gown speak for itself adding only Lorraine Schwartz gems. Tumbling loose, golden tresses and a deep kohl-rimmed eye provided the finishing touches. Hands down this was one of my favorite red carpet looks this year. Claire looked sensational.

For the 2013 Met Gala Taylor Swift embraced the Punk: Chaos to Couture theme with open arms. She wore this slim-fitting black J. Mendel gown featuring a dramatic embellished neckline and sexy sheer lace panels. She styled her look with a J. Mendel minaudiere, Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Givenchy heels. I love Taylor's crimped hair with colorful pink and yellow strands subtly weaved in. This ensemble screamed punk rock goddess for me. This was a fantastic change up for her style. Hope to see more edgy drama from her on the red carpet in the coming year.

Charlize Theron is always a red carpet favorite of mine. She exudes class and style. For the 2013 Oscars she walked the red carpet in this white strapless Dior Haute Couture column gown featuring peplum details. She accessorized her sleek look with Roger Vivier heels and sparkling Harry Winston jewels. A subtle smokey eye and glossy lip provided the finishing touches to her captivating red carpet ensemble.

I have become such a style fan of Elizabeth Banks over the last two years. Last month Banks stunned on the red carpet for the Berlin premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in this silver beaded Elie Saab column dress featuring a sweetheart neckline and belted waist.

She styled her dazzling ensemble with metallic Brian Atwood sandals, Demarco diamond drop earrings and a silver Kara Rose envelope clutch.

Soft wavy tresses and flawless makeup added the final touches to her look.

I was completely floored by this gown on Elizabeth, she looks amazing.

For the 2013 Met Gala, Nina Dobrev worked a custom Monique Lhuillier ensemble featuring a lace corseted jumpsuit and leather harnesses with a tulle skirt overlay. The Vampire Diaries star added Rupert Sanderson pumps and glamorous jewels including a Kimberly McDonald ring. A dramatic cat-eye and side-swept locks added the final touches to her punk perfect look. I love Nina's look because she didn't overdo the ensemble by looking like she was wearing a costume.

Kate Beckinsale is another of my favorite red carpet style stars. It's been a low-key year for her appearance wise, but in November she dazzled on the red carpet for the 2013 LACMA Art & Film Gala in Los Angeles wearing this glittering strapless, icy blue Gucci column gown featuring embellished details at the waist.

The British beauty styled her ensemble with a metallic Jimmy Choo roll clutch and shimmering Neil Lane diamonds.

Glossy side-swept waves and flawless makeup added the final touches to her glamorous look.

In August Jennifer Aniston walked the red carpet for the European premiere of We're the Millers in London wearing this floral print fit and flare Dior halter-neck dress featuring a tiered skirt.

This style is very un-Aniston like, opting for something other than an LBD on the red carpet. Before the London premiere Aniston shocked the style Gods by wearing a plum colored Burberry dress for the New York City premiere, another red carpet surprise. But it was this look that grabbed my attention the most. It was a refreshing change-up for her, and you know how much I adore Jen's style. I rarely find fault with anything she does.

She styled her lovely ensemble with sparkling Fred Leighton jewels and strappy suede Casadei heels.

Wind swept tresses and a nude pout added the final touches to her flirty yet sexy look.

In February Amy Adams exceeded all my red carpet expectations. She was an alluring vision on the red carpet at the BAFTA Awards wearing this black beaded, long-sleeved Elie Saab Couture lace gown featuring a central slit for sex appeal.

Amy styled her exquisite look with gold Casadei t-strap heels and Faberge jewels, including a stunning pair of white and pink diamond drop earrings.

A fabulous top-knot and pink pout added the finishing touches to her dramatic ensemble.

Kate Middleton turned heads for her first red carpet outing after the birth of Prince George in September at the Tusk Awards. The Duchess of Cambridge opted for this shimmering metallic Jenny Packham gown with a crystal motif. She styled her look with Jimmy Choo platform heels and a dazzling diamond bracelet. Tumbling glossy tresses and a subtle pink lip provided the final touches. For me Kate can do no wrong when it comes to fashion. She's still one of my all-time style favorites.

Marion Cotillard in something other than Dior, how refreshing! I understand that actresses have to wear a considerable amount of looks from the brands they rep, but I was feeling smothered by Marion and Dior. Imagine my excitement when The Rust and Bone actress walked the red carpet at the 2013 Critics' Choice Awards wearing this fabulous floral embroidered Zuhair Murad A-line cocktail dress featuring a full-skirt and a sexy open back. Marion styled her flirty look with Jimmy Choo strappy heels, a nude Christian Louboutin clutch and brilliant Chopard gems. Her neutral accessories kept the look simple and let the dress do all the talking. A side-swept classic bun and barely there makeup completed her lovely ensemble.
