The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are Expecting Their First Child

This morning the Palace confirmed that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their first child. The Duchess was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in London this afternoon with Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Hyperemesis Gravidarum is very acute morning sickness, which requires supplementary hydration and nutrients.

Her Royal Highness is expected to stay in the hospital for several days, as the pregnancy is in its very early stages. The Duchess will then be required a period of rest upon her release.

The official announcement comes weeks after it was first reported that Jessica Hay, former roommate and close friend of the royal couple, stated to Aussie tabloid New Look that the Royals will have "wonderful, happy news" to share in December.

How excited are you for Will and Kate? Can you imagine the maternity style?

Happy 30th Birthday to the Duchess of Cambridge!

Kate Middleton is the apple of Britain’s eye. We love her charm and her style. Today, she is another year older.

If she buys something, you can guarantee it will become an instant sell-out in the UK.

Even if she wears something that’s last season, it will be brought back in stock and then sell out again.

She’s done wonders for British fashion. Her penchant for wearing British retailers Whistles and Reiss has led to huge increases in sales.

She also revamped wedding chic last year through her Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen dress. If any prospective brides-to-be in 2011 couldn’t have the real deal, they wanted a close copy.

Last night, the eve of her 30th birthday, Middleton continued her love of lace in a floor-length gown from British designer Alice Temperley at Steven Spieilberg’s War Horse premiere.

A big happy birthday to you, Kate, from the global fashion community!

Jessica Chastain to Play Princess Diana in Biopic

It's been quite a year for actress Jessica Chastain with the success of several films including The Help and the hit of the Cannes Film Festival, The Tree of Life. Now Chastain has been cast to take on a daunting role: she is set to play Princess Diana in the upcoming biopic, Caught In Flight, directed by Downfall's Olivier Hirschbiegel.

The film centers around Diana's closely guarded relationship with Pakistani heart surgeon Hasnat Kahn, regarded by some to be the true love of her life. Diana dated Kahn after her divorce from Prince Charles. The pair had ended their romance before her death in 1997.

Chastain has a challenge ahead of her. Not only will she need to master the accent and demeanor of the late princess, but Diana is not cast in a particular favorable light in the film. The script, written by Steven Jeffreys, portrays the former princess as a damaged person who stalks the doctor after he ends the affair. This is the perfect recipe for Chastain to show her range as an actress and possibly nab a Golden Globe, perhaps even an Academy Award.

Anna Wintour Wants Kate Middleton in Vogue

Anna Wintour is campaigning to get Kate Middleton on the cover of American Vogue. The Editor-In-Chief of Vogue is quite a fan of the Duchess, according to Page Six, she's been quoted as saying, "There's nothing vulgar or trashy about her...she dresses her age and never looks out of place."

This is not surprising at all and if anyone could sway Catherine to be featured in a glossy photo shoot our money is on Wintour.

Anna has enlisted the help of close friend to the royal couple Mario Testino, who also photographed The Duke and Duchess' engagement photos to make this happen. The palace has to protect Kate's image, so they must approve the photo shoot. We're not getting too excited because Alexandra Shulman of British Vogue also tried to get Testino to shoot Middleton for her cover and failed.
