The red carpet for the 2013 Grammy Awards was filled with daring slits, sensational sparkle and red hot silhouettes. Despite the CBS dress code, celebs like Jennifer Lopez and Katy Perry pushed the skin baring restricted rules opting for jaw-dropping looks. Here are my top five picks for the best dressed celebrities at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards.

Trading in her signature classic black dress, Adele opted for this vibrant floral embroidered, red Valentino Couture A-line cocktail dress for the 2013 Grammy Awards.

The British songstress styled her ensemble with matching pointed heels and and ornate gemstone earrings.

A lovely wavy up-do and glossy lip completed her red carpet ensemble.

While I do not think this is Adele's best dressed ensemble, she looks gorgeous. I applaud her for jumping out of her comfort zone and trying  something different.

Elie Saab Couture Spring 2013 - Red Carpet Wishlist

Elie Saab presented his Spring 2013 Haute Couture Collection in Paris and its my favorite couture collection so far this season. The choice of color palette from romantic lilac to radiant red was simply gorgeous. Although, the first eight looks of the collection shown in ethereal white seemed to have spring brides buzzing about wedding fantasy gowns. Tulle, lace, delicate embroidery and beading, all staples of the Saab signature touch were all present in the dreamy collection. It's hard to pick just one ultimate favorite look, all I know is that several pieces from this collection need to be and should be seen on the red carpet.

There were plenty of sheer nude gowns shown, Taylor Swift's favorite hue to don on the red carpet. I am hoping she will step out of her comfort zone and try one of the  baby blue colored gowns for the Grammy Awards. I really love the silhouette of this dress for Taylor with the illusion shoulder and neckline.

Another possible Grammy red carpet look is this sensational red column gown featuring a cape. I know that traditionally the Grammy's aren't known for such high fashion ensembles, moreover unconventional quirky styles, but I cannot help but wonder what Katy Perry would look like in this elegant ensemble.

Jessica Chastain would look absolutely stunning in one of nude gowns, without looking like she's too washed out with her fair complexion. However, I think this strapless mixed print ball gown would make Jessica a standout on the red carpet at the Oscars.

I hate to be all wear more red on the red carpet please, but can't you just see Nicole Kidman in this elegant short-sleeved column dress? She has wow'd in red before, she could do it again.

Here are just a few more looks that I'd be elated to see on the red carpet this season. Zoe Saldana, Emma Stone, Naomi Watts-- I am looking at you. If we could try to get Anne Hathaway in some Elie Saab soon that would be fabulous.

Do you like Elie Saab's latest couture collection? Which pieces would you like to see on the red carpet and who would you like to see wearing those looks?
