No one does a pretty party frock better than Stacey Bendet. This year the head designer for Alice + Olivia threw a nod to 1950's nostalgia for her Spring 2013 RTW collection. Bendet used every color of the rainbow for spring, inspired by artist Ilya Bolotowsky, whose works mixed the decade's bold primary colors with sweet pastels. If you love color and wearing lots of it, you might want to pick up the striped, strapless, bustier crop top and the full skirt to match.
A girl could truly build an entire wardrobe from this collection. There is something for everyone including: fit-and-flare dresses, floor grazing maxi dresses and cool mixed separates. A standout look teamed white, billowy, gaucho style pants with a bedazzled bustier top and an orange leather jacket. We personally loved the chambray shorts coupled with the blue poppy top and glittering striped jacket.
Looks were styled with lace-up pointed booties, floral print sandals, ankle-wrapped heels, top handle bags and Lucite clutches.
Bendet expanded her cocktail dress expertise to full-length evening gowns and proved that you'll be seeing more of her designs at red carpet events. The embellished, ivory cap-sleeved gown needs to be feted by one of Hollywood's young twenty-somethings. We're looking at you Emma Roberts, AnnaSophia Robb and Allison Williams.
