Shay Mitchell Covers Teen Vogue April 2013 Issue

Shay Mitchell graces the April 2013 cover for Teen Vogue wearing a pretty floral print, cap-sleeve Topshop dress. For her accompanying editorial the Pretty Little Liars star is featured wearing pieces from Erdem, Valentino, Tory Burch and Emporio Armani. Inside the 25-year-old talks about everything from living abroad and the difference between Emily's style vs. her own personal style.

Shay on fans reaction when she was first cast as Emily: “I remember being so excited to get the part, and then I started getting messages on Twitter saying, ‘You are not right for this.’ In the casting breakdown, the producers said they were looking for the girl next door. Who’s to say I’m not the girl next door in this day and age?”

Shay on Emily's style vs. her own personal style: “People are always shocked that I don’t dress like Emily,” she says, referring to her far sportier on-screen alter ego. “But I’m not her. I’m more comfortable in heels than I am in sneakers.”

Shay on living abroad: “I went to Bangkok first, right after high school, to model. I lived there for three months and then spent another three months in Hong Kong, and then I came back to Canada. It didn’t take me very long to realize that modeling wasn’t very satisfying. I was always asking people, ‘How are you going to set up this shot? How will it be lit?’ And they’d say, ‘Stop. Just pose.’ I had a problem with that. So when I got to Toronto, I sent my package out to, like, 34 different talent agencies, and in the meantime, I got a job working as a hostess at a restaurant/lounge, which I did for three years. Finally, someone at one of the agencies called me back. I started doing small parts in commercials and TV shows, and then I auditioned for Pretty Little Liars."

The Ladies of OZ Cover InStyle March 2013 Issue

The ladies of the new film, Oz: The Great and Powerful grace the cover of InStyle's March 2013 issue. Dolled up in glamorous fashions, Michelle Williams is featured in a soft pink Nina Ricci draped gown paired with Fred Leighton rings. Rachel Weisz is wearing a lace Valentino design styled with Fred Leighton gems. And, Mila Kunis dons a bejeweled Carolina Herrera gown paired with Fred Leighton earrings. For their accompanying editorial, the co-stars are photographed wearing a bevy of colorful spring looks from Peter Piloto, Derek Lam, Lanvin and Louis Vuitton.

Inside the trio dish on a variety of topics, here are a few excerpts from the interview:

Michelle on boyfriend, Jason Segel: "He is nice . . . I didn't actually realize who he was before I started dating him. I mean, I saw the Muppets movie, and I thought, 'Oh, that's cute,' but the truth is I didn't realize he made a lot of very popular, funny movies or was on a TV show. But maybe more important, I didn't realize he was so tall. I thought, 'Hey, man, you're cramping my style!' I tried wearing wedge heels for a while to compensate, but it wasn't me and I just gave up."

Rachel on the best part of filming: "Michelle's daughter and my son are about the same age, so they went to camp together, and we took them bowling. It was really fun for me and Michelle too, because you don't get that many mommy playdates in our business."

Mila on the costumes she wore for the film: "I spent a lot of the shoot in a leather corset, wired up in a harness, and flying around in a costume that weighed 10 pounds. I hear some women enjoy wearing a corset, but tell them to try 17 hours of that and then get back to me."

What do you think of the cover? Will you be picking up a copy when it hits newsstands February 8th? If the red carpet premiere fashions are as fabulous as this cover, I think fashionistas are in for a real stylish treat.

Agyness Deyn Covers InStyle UK March 2013 Issue

Seems that Agyness Deyn hasn't quite given up modeling, the British beauty is InStyle UK's March 2013 cover girl. The Pusher star is featured on the cover wearing a red-and-white Prada romper paired with striped Chanel platforms. For her accompanying editorial, shot by London-based photographer, Rankin, Agyness dons a bevy of 1960's inspired looks from Moshino, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Michael Kors.

Inside she dishes on her new husband, Giovanni Ribisi, modeling and her acting career.

Agyness on hubby, Giovanni Ribisi: He's incredible, he's my hero."

Agyness on the unsettling part of her modeling career: “For a long time, I was such a nomad. That was my life for so long. Doing shit like that. Being in a hotel, not knowing where you are. You could be in any country…”

Agyness on acting vs modeling: “I just found that acting is very real for me… rather than projecting something that’s unobtainable.”

What do you think of Agyness' cover? This is probably one of my favorite magazine covers so far this year. I love her makeup and glossy blonde pixie cut. Do you think Agyness should consider sticking with modeling for a few more years?

Selena Gomez in Atelier Versace at the Nylon Magazine Cover Party

Selena Gomez celebrated her Nylon magazine cover in West Hollywood wearing this patchwork printed Atelier Versace mini.

The brunette beauty styled her look with pastel pointed Nicholas Kirkwood heels and Melinda Maria's, white gold Gwyneth Hoop earrings.

Tumbling loose waves, a bright manicure and a glossy pout provided the finishing touches to her charming ensemble.

What do you think of Selena's look? I love her hair, but I wonder if a sleek ponytail would have taken this look to the next level?

Dakota Fanning Covers Glamour March 2013 Issue

A curly haired, Dakota Fanning is Glamour Magazine's March 2013 cover girl. At first glance I thought it was AnnaSophia Robb, The Carrie Diaries star featured on the cover. Dakota is featured wearing a Marc Jacobs Mickey Mouse sweater paired with a sequined Jonathan Saunders skirt. For her accompanying editorial she is photographed wearing an assortment of playful pieces from Nina Ricci, Jill Stuart and Burberry.

Inside the 19-year-old actress talks about what her little sister Elle has taught her and why she is OK being single.

Dakota on the single life: "Yeah. I don’t really date. I have a weird vision of relationships because my parents have known each other since second grade, and they got married right out of college. I’ve always thought that’s what it’s supposed to be like, and if it’s not, then I don’t want to waste my time on it. Even when I was 14, I was like, “I’m not gonna marry this person. What’s the point of doing it?” It’s not me being naive. I just know what it’s supposed to be like. And I think until I feel that, I cannot be bothered.”

Dakota on why she admires her little sister Elle: “She’s very uninhibited and will try pretty much anything. Even the way she dresses— she dresses totally for herself. She risks being made fun of…by me, which I sometimes do, because I’m an older sister! But I totally admire her and think she’s very cool.”

What do you think of Dakota's cover? Will you be picking up a copy when it hits newsstands on February 5th?  I find the cover quite interesting because it showcases Dakota in a youthful image, which she is teenager, but the theme is: "Dakota Goes Glam From Child Star to Style Star." I think Glamour should have styled a more sophisticated cover to have achieved their goal.

Lauren Conrad Covers Lucky Magazine's March 2013 Issue

Lauren Conrad gives a nod to spring on the cover of Lucky Magazine's March 2013 issue in a fun and flirty white sleeveless, embroidered sheer tank paired with classic denim cut-off shorts. For her accompanying editorial, the 26-year-old fashion designer is featured in several enticing, warm weather pieces from Jil Sander to Banana Republic, including her own line, Paper Crown. Inside, Lauren talks about her weekends with her boyfriend, her plans for a family and what effects her reality TV experience had on her fashion career.

Lauren on spending time with boyfriend, William Tell: "Honestly, he studies all weekend and I've been working. I'm renovating a condo, so I've been spending my weekends shopping for home stuff at flea markets."

Lauren on having kids: "I want kids, but not in the immediate future. All of my friends in their early 30s who just started having kids say, 'Give it a few years.'"

Lauren on being a reality TV star in the fashion industry: “The TV show did not help my reputation very much. It was difficult to be taken seriously. But I think the fact that I went to school to study fashion and worked in the industry helped me. I think it’s a good thing to feel like you have to prove something, because you’re always going to have to work a little bit harder.”

Lauren on advice that has stuck with her: “I can’t remember who told me this, but it was ‘Get your clothes tailored.’ Like most people, I used to wear clothing off the rack. But having them fitted to me makes a really big difference, especially with pieces like a cocktail dress. Little nips and tucks can take 10 pounds off you.”

What do you think of Lauren's cover? Have any of your read any of Lauren's books? She is a New York Times best selling author and also says she'd like to write a dating advice book.

Carrie Underwood Covers Allure Magazine's February 2013 Issue

Carrie Underwood graces the cover of Allure Magazine's February 2013 issue wearing this citron hued silk Gucci dress featuring a gold embellished neckline. For her accompanying editorial, shot on location at the historic Overhosler Mansion in Oklahoma City, the 29-year-old country singer is featured wearing looks from Calvin Klein and Burberry Prorsum. Inside she dishes on everything from her thoughts on the TV series Nashville and her on stage tour fashions.

Carrie on Hayden Panettiere‘s character on the TV show Nashville: “I’m not like that at all. It’s juicy, but I hope not everybody thinks that everything goes down like that in Nashville, and we’re evil. To be honest, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with other types of music—and we’re the least drama-rific people.”

Carrie on supporting gay marriage: “I’m in favor of acceptance. And I am a Christian person, and I do love the Lord, and I feel no matter who you are, what you believe, how you live your life, it’s not my place to judge. I don’t have that power. I don’t want that power. It’s my place to love and to show God’s love to other people, even if they don’t live a life like I live. So that’s where I’m coming from.”

Carrie on revealing stage outfits: “Underneath every skirt, every dress, I’m wearing shorts. So that everyone in the world knows, if I ever fell down, nobody would get a peek at anything.”

Do you like Carrie's cover? Will you be picking up a copy of the issue when it hits newsstands on January 22nd?

Krysten Ritter Covers Fashion Magazine's February 2013 Issue

Krysten Ritter graces the cover of Fashion Magazine's February 2013 issue wearing a high-shine strapless Hervé Léger by Max Azria dress paired with stacked Isharya bracelets. For her accompanying editorial the 31-year-old actress is featured in stunning looks from Zac Posen and Ben Amun. Inside The Don't Trust the B----- in Apartment 23 star dishes on everything from her life away from the cameras to her desire to work with Ryan Gosling.

Krysten on her fashion choices vs Chloe's: "Chloe is more costume-y than I would want to be in real life. She'll wear a giant fake fur with high heels that cross the edge of insanity. In real life, I'm more grunge-y and gothy. I'm a proud child of the 90's."

Krysten on her boyfriend, Brian Geraghty: "He's a 'dude'. The guy's a surfer from New Jersey. He's great at acting and he's successful but I don't see him as an actor. He's not the guy who gets his hair and makeup all done up to go out and he's not reading 'Us Weekly' to see if he's in it."

Krysten on her role in "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23": "I do think my character is breaking the mold for females on TV. It's always the boys who get to play the nut jobs and sociopaths. Guys usually get the funny lines and the girls often roll their eyes or have to set up the joke. She's smart and confident, but she's also a comic relief."

On her desire to work with Ryan Gosling one day: “I can’t count how many times I’ve seen The Notebook. I’m glad there’s an appetite for a leading man who is unconventional…the world needs more Ryan Goslings.”

What do you think of Krysten's cover? Will you be picking of a copy of this issue, which is on newsstands now?

Katharine McPhee Covers Lucky Magazine's February 2013 Issue

Katharine McPhee earns her stripes on the cover of Lucky magazine's February 2013 issue. The Smash star is featured wearing a sexy, off-the-shoulder sweater and flirty skirt by Philosophy di Alberta Feretti paired with electric neon yellow Christian Louboutin pumps. For her accompanying editorial, Katharine is photographed wearing fabulous pieces from Nanette Lepore, Baublebar, Red Valentino and Charlotte Olympia. Inside, the American Idol Alum talks about everything from her input to her wardrobe on Smash to the positives of living in New York versus Los Angeles.

Katharine on the upside of living in New York versus LA: “I couldn’t really put my finger on it. There’s so much diversity on the streets here. You get to leave work behind when you leave; not everyone is an actor.”

Katharine on her horrifying paparazzi photos: “Now I look back {at paparazzi photos} and I will be like, Where did I get those that that I was wearing? Oh right, they were sent to me by some PR company, and you think because they’re free, they’re awesome, but when you look back at the photos and you look horrible in them, I’m like, God, what was I thinking?”

Katharine on why you won’t see her stumbling out of night clubs: “When you’re on a show like this {Smash}, one that requires so much singing, you have to be really protective of you instrument. You don’t get to just, like, go out and party all night.”

Katharine on why she is weighing in on her Smash wardrobe: “I realized I needed to put attention and time into clothing. It would be easy to put together a Helmut Lang top and jeans and ankle boots—and it looks fine, but doesn’t take it to the next level, especially on television.” McPhee goes on to say, “I know what looks good on me.”

What do you think of Katharine's cover? Will you be tuning in for the second season of Smash?

Jessica Alba Covers InStyle's February 2013 Issue

Jessica Alba graces the cover of InStyle's February 2013 Issue wearing a sleeveless black top and lovely floral printed skirt both by Christian Dior. For her accompanying editorial she is featured wearing fabulous designer pieces from Derek Lam, Carolina Herrera, Fendi and Marni. Inside the 31-year-old actress talks about motherhood, her personal style and how she knew husband, Cash Warren was "the one".

Jessica on husband, Cash Warren: “I just knew when I met him that I was going to know him forever. It was weird; he instantly felt like family. It was so easy. I’d never felt like that with anyone. I was usually pretty self-conscious, minding my p’s and q’s, very aware of every time my fork hit the plate when I was having dinner on a date. With him, there was none of that. We got each other. We’re kindred spirits.”

Jessica on what motherhood has taught her:  “Before I had kids, I was very responsible and serious. I used to be all about controlling my environment; everything had to be just so. Now my idea of perfection is different. You can label bins and have a place for stuff, but when the kids go into the playroom, you’re not going to say, ‘We can’t paint, because how are we going to clean it up?’”

Jessica on her personal style: “My style is more adventurous since I became a mom. In the past, I was into my uniform of leggings and a sweater. Now I’m willing to try bold prints, bright colors, and different cuts. Never say never, but I probably won’t ever wear booty shorts. I feel pretty confident about that.”

What do you think of Jessica's cover? Will you be picking up a copy when it hits newsstands January 11th?
