Miley Cyrus Covers Marie Claire's September Issue

Miley Cyrus is Marie Claire's September cover girl. The newly engaged star graces the cover wearing a satin, embellished Christian Dior design and lots of gorgeous jewels. Her accompanying editorial has her wearing fashions from designers like: Pace Rabanne, Tom Ford, Versace, Roberto Cavalli and Kanye West.

Inside the 19-year-old talks about everything from her dog, her vintage engagement ring and, of course, her relationship with fiancé Liam Hemsworth.

Miley on her relationship with Liam Hemsworth: “Life is too short not to be with the person you want to be with. I don’t really care about the wedding or the piece of paper as much as I do the promise we’ve made to each other. And we want to have a long engagement.”

Miley on her vintage engagement ring: “I had no input. We’d been kind of talking about [getting engaged], and I saw something like it online at one point and thought it was really pretty, but I usually wear rose gold. I just love that it’s old and has a story. And I’m happy because it doesn’t look like anything else I wear.”

Miley on her dog, Ziggy: “She’s a stubborn little b**ch, that one. She doesn’t listen to me. She’s in love with Liam. She loves me when he’s gone, but she totally ate my diamonds on purpose. She was pooping them out all morning!”

Marc Jacobs Staying with Vuitton

Long considered a front-runner for the head designer gig at Christian Dior, Marc Jacobs this week told a British newspaper he is staying put.

"I am happy to be here," Jacobs said of Louis Vuitton, where he serves as Creative Director. Jacobs also has his own line and a diffusion line, Marc by Marc Jacobs.

Jacobs' name surfaced in the fall of 2011 as a potential replacement for disgraced designer John Galliano. Galliano was arrested in Paris last year for a racially-charged tirade inside a cafe.

Jacobs says his primary focus is continuing to build Vuitton, including the release of a new fragrance sometime this year.
