Gwen Stefani Covers Harper's Bazaar September Issue

Gwen Stefani covers the September 2012 issue of Harper's Bazaar US wearing an oversized, bubble gum pink Alexis Mabille Couture hat and strapless gown by Jil Sander. Her accompanying editorial, photographed by Terry Richardson, features her in designs from Oscar de la Renta, The Row, Vera Wang, Versace, Alexander McQueen and more.

Inside the 42-year-old talks about everything from her style, to staying fit and motherhood. This issue will be the publication's largest ever — featuring 375 ad pages.

Gwen on her style: “I’ve always been a girl who loves to dress up. I already put my makeup on twice today: I put it on to take my kid to school, and then I went home, washed my face, and put it on again to have lunch with you. I like to make my husband like me more and he likes it when I’m wearing makeup.”

Gwen on staying fit: “I hate talking about my body [all the time]; it’s ridiculous. There is no secret: You just have to eat healthy, work out, and torture yourself! I like to wear clothes too much, so I try to keep focused.”

Gwen on motherhood: “It’s super fun being a mom, but it’s hard, too. Finding that balance between work and family is the hardest thing I’ve ever done—by far.”

Gwen on fame and gossip
: “That someone would say something untrue or bad about me doesn’t bother me. It’s like water off a duck’s back. None of that stuff matters. There’s something in me, being this passive person, that those kinds of things don’t upset me. I know they can say anything; they can just make something up. But what are you going to do? It’s not part of my reality, so it’s okay.”

For more with Gwen be sure to pick up the issue when it hits newsstands on August 21st.

Miley on her vintage engagement ring: “I had no input. We’d been kind of talking about [getting engaged], and I saw something like it online at one point and thought it was really pretty, but I usually wear rose gold. I just love that it’s old and has a story. And I’m happy because it doesn’t look like anything else I wear.”

Miley on her dog, Ziggy: “She’s a stubborn little b**ch, that one. She doesn’t listen to me. She’s in love with Liam. She loves me when he’s gone, but she totally ate my diamonds on purpose. She was pooping them out all morning!”

Kirsten also dishes on her relationship with Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti and her love of rainy days.

Kristen on leaving SNL: “I know a lot of people probably assume, ‘Oh, she’s leaving because she is going to be doing movies now and things like that,’ which I will be. But I just always knew it was going to be seven and that was it. I think maybe if I were 22, I could see myself staying a little bit, but it just felt like the right time. [Still], it was very emotional. I just wanted to get through it without breaking down in every sketch. Because nothing says comedy like breaking down.”

Kristen on her relationship with Fabrizio: "I will say that I'm happier than I've ever been and I feel very lucky right now. Where I am now. Who he is. Those are the two big ones."

Kristen on her love of rainy days: "I love the rain. It's my favorite weather. I feel like it cleans the city a little bit."

Kate Beckinsale Covers Glamour UK's August 2012 Issue

Kate Beckinsale is Glamour UK's August 2012 cover girl. Inside, the Total Recall star talks about having another baby, the pressure the media places on celebrity mom's and their bodies, beauty and growing older.

Kate on having another baby: "There's absolutely part of me that goes, 'I'd love to have a baby in the relationship I'm in, and have that experience when the relationship's really good and exclusive,' but I'm just not sure. At some point the decision will be made for me, when my ovaries dry up and die. We'll see. There's nothing that makes me go, 'And now I must have triplets!'"

Kate on beauty: "I feel like beauty is a gift that you have for a while, and you enjoy the hell out of it while you have it. And if you’re lucky enough to have a daughter and you give it to her, you enjoy the fact she has it. My mother was always very, very beautiful – she still is, in her sixties. I’m sure she feels, 'Wouldn’t it be nice if my neck did this?' but not to the degree of cutting parts of herself odd and dragging them behind her ears. I feel very similar. I much prefer how my mother looks to the people I see here [in Los Angeles] with wind-tunnel face,"

Kate on the pressure that the media places on celebrity mom's to regain their figures: "There’s an obsessional hatred of normal human processes. Pregnancy changes and woman’s body and should. It isn’t normal to not look like you’ve had a baby immediately after you’ve had a baby. I was gigantic after I had Lily – I put on a good 3 ½ stone, and it didn’t go ‘til I stopped breast feeding… I was lucky that Britain wasn’t so paparazzi-orientated [then]. I was allowed to get on with it and enjoy my baby – and figure out what being a mother was all about instead of worrying about [fitting into] my f**king jeans..."
