Jenna Dewan-Tatum in Diane Von Furstenberg at the HFPA & InStyle Golden Globes Party

Jenna attended the HFPA & InStyle Golden Globes Party in West Hollywood wearing this single-shoulder coral Diane Von Furstenberg Grecian inspired frock.

The gorgeous actress styled her look with bronzed open-toed heels and a plethora of gold accessories by Melinda Maria including the Pinball Bangle, Mimi Fringe Sparkle earrings, Nina Feather Wrap Bangle, Pyramid Bangle and Pinball ring.

A glossy up-do and pink lip added the finishing touches.

What do you think of Jenna's look? Does it have too much of a summery feel or is it the perfect representation of southern California golden girl style?

Gwyneth Paltrow Covers InStyle's October 2012 Issue

Gwyneth Paltrow is featured on the cover of InStyle's October 2012 issue wearing a sleek and sophisticated, plum colored Diane von Furstenberg jumpsuit paired with Fred Leighton earrings and Vhernier bracelets.

Inside the 39-year-old dishes on her dieting habits, not allowing her kids to watch television in their native English and she and husband, Chris Martin's differences.

On the differences between her and her husband, Chris Martin: "Probably our artistic temperaments. Artists are sensitive; there are ups and downs mood-wise. Musicians need a certain gravitas and focus in order to write. The temperament that goes with someone who is creative can be challenging. I focus more on understanding than being understood."

Gwyneth on only allowing her children to watch television in a foreign language: "I only let them watch TV in French or Spanish. When I'm in France, I go to [Boulevard] Beaumarchais and buy all their cartoons."

Gwyneth on her draconian diet: "I was very strict for a while, I was macrobiotic for a couple of years, then I got pregnant and just ate ice cream. What I've learned is that I want to enjoy my life, and food us a big part of it. I love to cook and feed people. I cook everyday."

Gwyneth on her favorite food to indulge in: "My indulging is a fresh baguette with cheese and a glass of red wine or french fries and fried zucchini. Or a turkey burger."

What do you think of Gwyneth's cover? Will you be picking up a copy when it hits newsstands on September 21st?

New York Fashion Week Spring 2013 RTW: Diane von Furstenberg

The president of the Council of Fashion Designers of America -- Diane von Fürstenberg's latest Spring RTW collection embraces complementary colors and flowing textiles. Bright orange and bold blue embody a new year for the Spring in silhouettes that mesh the 60s and 70s along with DvF's signature wrap dress silhouette.

Styles that may initially seem dated, are taken to a youthful state thanks to asymmetry and fun with metallic gloss. One of the favorites from this collection is this metallic and color blocked look, doing fun things with the skirt hem and an interesting half flapped over front piece. As the show progressed, the initial thoughts of a certain football team's colors become a thought of the past as DvF takes the colors and make them her own.

Pants with a wrap dress top are definitely up for debate. On one hand, the shine of the cuffed sky pants scream top seller, but the drape of some pieces fall in a rushed, bohemian style that sometimes clash with the crispness of other elements of the collection. The collection also abruptly veers off from its initial color story to a world of pastels, leaving the first and second half of the collection feeling miles apart.

Overall, the Diane von Fürstenberg show is a lot more of the same, which is what one would expect from the designer. Perfect looks for next spring for those windy picnic days with the family or even rushing around the concrete jungle on a job mission. DvF is no doubt a designer that can brew feminine style inside the same pot as fashion forward New York.

World War of Fashion

The date debate over Fashion Week is taking a new twist this week. The Wall Street Journal is reporting the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (Milan Fashion Week) has accepted a proposal from its American counterpart (the CFDA) cutting one day from New York Fashion Week in 2013 and 2014.

Milan had reportedly threatened to move its dates to go up against New York and London. The deal, proposed by CFDA President Diane Von Furstenberg, also includes an extra day in September of 2013 and 2014 for London to show menswear collections.

Paris will still follow Milan on the schedule each year.

Traditionally the Wednesday before New York Fashion Week's official kick-off is for lesser-known designers to take a shot.

Celebrity Color Crush - Emerald

The year started off with glamorous green gowns floating down the red carpet at the Golden Globes. Mad Men star Elisabeth Moss showed off her curves in an elegant strapless Donna Karan emerald gown. Mila Kunis turned heads in a sensational single-shoulder Vera Wang gown. Angelina Jolie dazzled in a sequined embellished, long-sleeved Versace gown.

The biggest style moment featuring emerald came from William and Catherine's royal wedding in April. The bride's sister, Pippa, slipped out of her white Alexander McQueen bridesmaid gown into an elegant Alice Temperley custom gown for the reception.

Diane Von Furstenberg, The Row and Roland Mouret's Fall 2011 RTW collections featured several pieces of the bold color in lush fabrics and dramatic silhouettes.

New York Fashion Week: Diane von Furstenberg

Diane von Furstenberg’s Spring 2012 RTW collection was a mixture of 1960s housewife glam and sleek suits complete with jackets. Bright, bold colors and exotic prints brought the collection to life.  Furstenberg’s impeccable collection offered something for literally everyone. It was a buffet of mod-prints, clean cut jackets, Hawaiian floral and silk. Her usage of aqua, chocolate brown and tan with asymmetrical cut lines was stunning. Sheer blouses under crisp jackets paired with knee length shorts sprinkled the collection, giving it a modern uptown-chic feel.

The detailing on the clothing was exquisite. Intricate sequins and delicate beadwork showed the brilliant craftsmanship of the von Furstenberg team. Accessories included neon and metallic clutches, dainty beaded bracelets and square sunglasses in electric colors: green, white and yellow. Adding to the Uptown-Chic meets 60s-Mod look, the models had chiffon up-dos and minimal make-up.

Diane von Furstenberg ended her amazing collection walking the runway waving American flags. Her brilliance and ability to dress every type of woman is what has made her into the fashion design legend that she is today.
