Gwyneth Paltrow Covers InStyle's October 2012 Issue

Gwyneth Paltrow is featured on the cover of InStyle's October 2012 issue wearing a sleek and sophisticated, plum colored Diane von Furstenberg jumpsuit paired with Fred Leighton earrings and Vhernier bracelets.

Inside the 39-year-old dishes on her dieting habits, not allowing her kids to watch television in their native English and she and husband, Chris Martin's differences.

On the differences between her and her husband, Chris Martin: "Probably our artistic temperaments. Artists are sensitive; there are ups and downs mood-wise. Musicians need a certain gravitas and focus in order to write. The temperament that goes with someone who is creative can be challenging. I focus more on understanding than being understood."

Gwyneth on only allowing her children to watch television in a foreign language: "I only let them watch TV in French or Spanish. When I'm in France, I go to [Boulevard] Beaumarchais and buy all their cartoons."

Gwyneth on her draconian diet: "I was very strict for a while, I was macrobiotic for a couple of years, then I got pregnant and just ate ice cream. What I've learned is that I want to enjoy my life, and food us a big part of it. I love to cook and feed people. I cook everyday."

Gwyneth on her favorite food to indulge in: "My indulging is a fresh baguette with cheese and a glass of red wine or french fries and fried zucchini. Or a turkey burger."

Best of 2011~ Fashion Wrap Up Favorite Celebrity Looks

2011 was filled with stunning red carpet looks, but there were also a ton of everyday looks that were equally impressive. Whether celebs were sitting front row at New York Fashion week, attending a charity event gala or a movie premiere there were twelve months of fabulous looks on and off the red carpet. We've rounded up our favorite picks from our "Look of the Day" feature. We brought you the best looks from January, February, March and April already, so here we go with May and June of 2011!

Jennifer Aniston looked radiant in this orange Vivienne Westwood strapless dress, with a sexy keyhole cut-out. The actress wore this dress to promote her new fragrance at the Lexington Avenue Sephora in New York City. She completed her look with embellished Christian Louboutin sandals. Actress January Jones radiantly revealed her baby bump in this purple and black, draped Preen dress at the NYC premiere of X-Men: First Class. She completed her look with black patent Prada sandals. The Duchess of Cambridge, looking very tanned and refreshed after her ten day honeymoon in Seychelles, wore this elegant taupe Reiss "Shola Bandage" dress to meet the President and First Lady Michelle Obama at Buckingham Palace. Catherine completed her look with a black "Maude" clutch from Anya Hindmarch Bespoke and classic black heels.

Ashely Greene attended the CFDA Fashion Awards in this black and fuchsia Michael Kors shift dress. The Twilight star was a special guest of Michael's and accessorized with a black box clutch, criss cross leather heels and jewels also from the designer. Gwyneth Paltrow attended the Alice + Olivia-sponsored 3rd Annual Bent On Learning Benefit in NYC wearing this Grecian inspired Alexander Wang black and grey dress, paired with sexy peep toe sandals. Kate Winslet looked absolutely stunning at the YO DONA Magazine International awards in this sleek, long-sleeved Victoria Beckham gown with gold metal stud embellishments at the the waist. She completed her classic look with a crystal Judith Leiber minaudière and gold drop earrings.

2011 Venice Film Festival~ Red Carpet Fashion

The glamorous fashions continue at the Venice Film Festival. Take a look at some of the highlights from Italy's hottest event. 

Gwyneth Paltrow looked radiant in this bright coral Prada mini dress paired with navy and cream Nicholas Kirkwood peep-toes at the Contagion photocall. Later the actress and cookbook author wore this beautiful pale pink organza gown, also by Prada, to the movie's red carpet premiere. Gwyneth completed her look with the Italian design house's Cipria Raso clutch, Vernice peep-toes and stunning Bvlgari earrings. Madonna added some sparkle at Venice's Gucci Awards for Women in Cinema in this long-sleeve, black georgette gown from the brand paired with Miu Miu sunglasses. 

 

Jessica Chastain wore this tangerine Carolina Herrera dress paired with nude pumps to the Wilde Salome photocall. Later, the actress dazzled in this nude, cap-sleeve, embroidered Elie Saab gown for the movie's red carpet premiere. Jessica completed her look with a soft updo and shimmering diamond jewels.  Keira Knightly wore this pretty print Mary Katrantzou dress at the photocall for A Dangerous Method. Black sunnies and beige pumps completed her look.

Look of the Day~ Gwyneth Paltrow in Alexander Wang

Gwyneth Paltrow attended the Alice + Olivia-sponsored 3rd Annual Bent On Learning Benefit  in New York City  wearing this Grecian inspired Alexander Wang black and grey dress featuring draped details and a belted waist.

She styled her look with criss-cross peep toes. Not much more was needed for this dress which stands out all by itself.
