Lauren Conrad Style

Lauren Conrad in Zayan at the Infamous Book Signing

Lauren Conrad held a book signing for her new book, Infamous at Barnes & Noble in The Grove wearing this lovely white, embroidered Zayan dress featuring a sheer tulle overlay.

Marie Claire's July cover girl styled her ensemble with ankle-wrapped sandals and a gold bracelet.

A sleek topknot and dewy complexion added the finishing touches to her dreamy look.

Seems Lauren's look is more red carpet appropriate, rather than a book signing. What do you guys think?

Lauren Conrad Covers Marie Claire July 2013 Issue

Lauren Conrad, looking every bit the Southern California girl she is, is featured on the cover of Marie Claire's July 2013 issue wearing an electric yellow Fausto Puglisi curve-hugging dress featuring a black and white, polka-dot bodice. For her accompanying editorial, the fashion designer dons a plethora of hot summer pieces from Emilio Pucci, Fausto Puglisi and her own line, Paper Crown. Inside she dishes on everything from why she started writing to her boyfriend, William Tell.

Lauren on why she started writing: “I only ever got to tell half of my story. People are very quick to judge these days, especially behind the anonymity of a screen name. It’s very easy to say, ‘I hate her, I hate what she wore, she seems mean.’ But you’re only seeing a small fraction of her life.”

Lauren on the negativity: “There is always gonna be a little bit of…negativity, which just comes with the territory. You realize it doesn’t matter. It’s so simple, but it’s a very hard lesson to learn. At the end of the day, it doesn’t really affect you in any way.”

Lauren on her boyfriend, William Tell: “He is very good for me because we have a lot in common as far as where we grew up. It’s the first time I’m with someone and I’m not explaining things. He also has experience in the entertainment industry, so he understands a lot of things that people don’t always get.”

What to you think of Lauren's cover? Will you be picking up a copy, when it hits newsstands on June 18th?

Lauren Conrad Covers Lucky Magazine's March 2013 Issue

Lauren Conrad gives a nod to spring on the cover of Lucky Magazine's March 2013 issue in a fun and flirty white sleeveless, embroidered sheer tank paired with classic denim cut-off shorts. For her accompanying editorial, the 26-year-old fashion designer is featured in several enticing, warm weather pieces from Jil Sander to Banana Republic, including her own line, Paper Crown. Inside, Lauren talks about her weekends with her boyfriend, her plans for a family and what effects her reality TV experience had on her fashion career.

Lauren on spending time with boyfriend, William Tell: "Honestly, he studies all weekend and I've been working. I'm renovating a condo, so I've been spending my weekends shopping for home stuff at flea markets."

Lauren on having kids: "I want kids, but not in the immediate future. All of my friends in their early 30s who just started having kids say, 'Give it a few years.'"

Lauren on being a reality TV star in the fashion industry: “The TV show did not help my reputation very much. It was difficult to be taken seriously. But I think the fact that I went to school to study fashion and worked in the industry helped me. I think it’s a good thing to feel like you have to prove something, because you’re always going to have to work a little bit harder.”

Lauren on advice that has stuck with her: “I can’t remember who told me this, but it was ‘Get your clothes tailored.’ Like most people, I used to wear clothing off the rack. But having them fitted to me makes a really big difference, especially with pieces like a cocktail dress. Little nips and tucks can take 10 pounds off you.”

What do you think of Lauren's cover? Have any of your read any of Lauren's books? She is a New York Times best selling author and also says she'd like to write a dating advice book.

Celebrities Love Lela Rose

This spring and summer celebrities cannot seem to get enough of Lela Rose's uniquely printed and ultra feminine designs. From curve-hugging sheaths to beautifully embellished red carpet dresses it's no wonder celebrity fans like Sophia Vergara, Nikki Reed, Lauren Conrad and Mandy Moore have been wearing the Manhattan based designer's sophisticated frocks for red carpet events and more.

In 2001 Rose designed the outfits worn by Jenna and Barbara Bush at their father's Presidential inauguration earning the Texas native some much deserved attention. After that, Rose expanded her business from working mostly with private clients to retail businesses like Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.

Twilight star, Nikki Reed wore a beautiful taupe, draped, Grecian inspired gown from Rose's resort Collection to the 2012 Do Something Awards just last week. Mandy Moore attended the Clos du Bois Rouge launch event in West Hollywood wearing a sophisticated, printed Lela Rose sheath dress featuring ruched details. This past spring Lauren Conrad turned heads at a book signing wearing this gorgeous, floral embroidered mini dress.

Here are a few of our favorite Lela Rose designs we would love to see on the red carpet for the Emmy's or the Venice Film Festival.
