In The Mood For: White Dresses

From Jessica Chastain to Dianna Agron, I have seen a ton of celebrities donning white frocks on the red carpet these past few weeks. The little black dress is a classic, but the white dress is a fresh twist and every bit as versatile. Here are a few white dresses I found that will work for any of your social events this summer--with the exception of a summer wedding.

In The Mood For: Fall's Best Emerald Green Looks, Inspired by NYFW

Pantone selected Emerald green as this year's color of the year. Fashion Designers incorporated the jewel-toned hue into their fall 2013 collections in striking ways, creating many desirable looks. The runways for New York Fashion Week were filled with emerald green red carpet gowns (thank you Monique Lhuillier), jackets and accessories. These pieces were just waiting for buyers, editors and celebrities to scoop them up pronto. I have picked my six favorite fashionable emerald green ensembles presented at New York Fashion Week that I think are the must haves for fall.

Can't you just picture Jennifer Lawrence in this stunning sleeveless Badgley Mischka gown at the premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire? I'd love to see Eva Mendes wear this Cushnie et Ochs dress with sexy cut-out details to the premiere of The Place Beyond the Pines. I think Rihanna needs to pick up this Altuzarra dress, it's completely her style.

I love the sparkling mini from Kaufmanfranco, I think Elle Fanning would look simply adorable in this flirty look. The Jill Stuart jacket is one of my personal favorites, a trendy, modern spin on a power suit perfect for the office or even date night.  Who wouldn't want to wear this long-sleeved belted, leather dress from Calvin Klein?

Which pieces are your favorites?

In The Mood For: A Red Coat, Inspired by Jessica Chastain

Proving that redheads can indeed wear red, Jessica Chastain was spotted headed for an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman in New York City wearing this charming double-breasted Michael Kors vibrant crimson colored coat. The design featured circle pockets, a large Peter Pan collar and gold-encircled buttons--very mod inspired feel. Tumbling wavy tresses and black Rupert Sanderson heels topped off her look.
