Carly Rae Jepsen Candie's Ad Campaign 2013

Candie's has unveiled a few images from their Spring 2013 ad campaign featuring singer, Carly Rae Jepsen. The playful images of Jepsen donning pretty pink and on-trend black and white pieces from the brand's spring 2013 collection, were shot by the "Call Me Maybe" singer herself, in a photo booth!

Carly Rae follows in the footsteps of Glee star, Lea Michele who was the face of the brand's Fall 2012 ad campaign.

“I feel very honored to be the next Candie’s girl. It’s a dream come true to be in the company of such amazing women!” Jepsen said in a statement.

The print ads will debut in fashion and lifestyle publications in March, no word yet on whether or not there will be TV spots.

I love the pink blazer paired with the cuffed jeans and ankle-strapped heels.

What do you think of Carly Rae's Candie's ad? Is she a good fit for the brand?

Proving that redheads can indeed wear red, Jessica Chastain was spotted headed for an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman in New York City wearing this charming double-breasted Michael Kors vibrant crimson colored coat. The design featured circle pockets, a large Peter Pan collar and gold-encircled buttons--very mod inspired feel. Tumbling wavy tresses and black Rupert Sanderson heels topped off her look.

Heelys Stylishly Roll Over Your Normal Tennis Shoe Attitude

Tennis shoes are something I could never get too excited about. My attitude changed when I received a pair of Heelys, the Override style #7868, which are only $69.99. These particular shoes have a low profile heel and are deceptively chic with their classic styling and splash of color. I like the versatile nature of the shoe that allows you to either dress it up or keep it casual. They can be great everyday tennis shoes for those who don’t like to skate everywhere.

Personally, I have terrible balance and coordination, so I was a little scared at first to try and skate. After I got the hang of it, I thoroughly enjoyed skating around the neighborhood.

These shoes are a fun and safe way to get out and enjoy the lovely outdoors. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who wants to feel like they can just zip around doing their daily activities.

In case you are looking for a gift for the adventurous someone on your holiday shopping list, consider Heelys. Heelys.com will be offering two "Black Friday" discount deals for U.S. residents, including FREE ground shipping on all orders from November 22nd - November 26th. The first discount: buy any pair of traditional or HX2 Heelys, and get a second pair for $25.00. In addition, buy a NANO and get any pair of Heelys for $25.00.

Happy Shopping!

Cut-outs are a way to add rock star edge to an ensemble, peek-a-boo pretty or look-at-me-now provocativeness.

Mixed Separates Monday: Amazing Autumn

My favorite time of the year to shop for clothing is autumn. To me, there really is nothing quite like the sound of crisp leaves crunching underneath a pair of chunky heeled boots. I love the cozy textures and warm colors that come with the fall season. I crave cooler weather styling, such as layering a loose knit sweater over a silk blouse, topped by a fabulous wool coat.

Here is an inspirational, mixed separates ensemble to try for fall. Playing off the color palette of the blouse, by sticking to mostly burnt oranges, tanned browns and olive greens hues, this ensemble will get you in the mood for autumn dressing.

What do you think of this look? Do you have any favorite pieces? Is there anything you would add or change?

White House Black Market Battles It Out with Ego's for Fall 2012

Supermodel Coco Rocha takes center stage for White House Black Market's Fall 2012 campaign in both print and television formats. The ad set is entitled 'AlterEgo,' and features multi-talented Rocha performing a carefully choreographed dance routine. As this ad sets to demonstrate, being a world class model means you must be able to do more than strike a pose for a camera.

Rocha perfected her set with the help of legendary Broadway choreographer, Laurin Latarro. Within a 30 second television set, around 12 different full body ensembles are featured. Rocha quickly steps into the role of a quick change artist. Will we see her on any upcoming Dancing With The Stars seasons?

While this may seem mundane and played out lately, thanks to Lady Gaga, Nikki Minaj and anyone else in the celebrity stratosphere claiming alter egos, the surprise reveal takes this show to the next level.

Photographer Glen Luchford is responsible for the print and marketing images. These are shot on set with the TV spot, incorporating fluidity and cohesiveness to television sets with a dance theme.

I know we can't wait to see your responses to the big reveal. While we would love for you to do the twist, our alter ego's won't let us!
